WORKSHOPS & PRESENTERS
“National Church Adopt-a-School Initiative” Morning Workshop - 11:00 am only This workshop will introduce you to this life changing program that impacts young lives through school-based mentoring, teach you how to put together a strategic outreach plan and where to find the resources to turn vision into reality. Workshop Presenters: Bill Collins & Charles Wolford “Breaking The Silence” Morning Workshop-11am; Afternoon Workshop-3:30pm We are in the middle of a culture war! If the church does not speak out for God’s Word and God’s Grace, the culture will lead us down the road to destruction. Come see how the church can be a light in the darkness for this generation and the next. Workshop Presenter: Pastor Shane Roberts “Compassionate Clarity on Humans as Male & Female” Morning Workshop-11am; Afternoon Workshop-3:30pm Most pastors have counseled someone with gender dysphoria or someone concerned about a loved one with gender dysphoria. This workshop will cover 2 steps: (1) It will walk participants through a discernment process, seeking to redefine "gender dysphoria" in theological-biblical terms. (2) Participants will review a proposed set of new Q&As relating to maleness and femaleness as a supplement to the EA's historic catechisms (Evangelical & Heidelberg Catechisms). Be equipped to set aside surface-level approaches to gender and dig instead for the treasure, which is God's renewed image in each person. Workshop Presenter: Pastor Andrew Keuer |
